How does the hire process work?

Hiring from Wedding Post Box is simple and stress-free. Once you book, we’ll deliver your post box two days before your wedding or event and arrange collection two days after (excluding weekends). All boxes arrive ready to use — just place them in your venue and let the cards roll in!

We’ll also confirm your personalisation details if included with your box, and send updates throughout the process so you always know what’s happening.

What kinds of post boxes do you offer?

Can I personalise my post box?

Yes! Most of our post boxes include free personalisation:

  • Royal Mail & Irish Post Boxes: A printed insert with your names, date, or message

  • American Mailbox: Comes with a completely custom-designed sign cover, created by our team

You’ll be prompted for your personalisation details after booking, or we’ll be in touch if you need help.

Are the post boxes secure for cards and gifts?

Yes. All our post boxes are lockable and come with keys. They’re ideal for collecting wedding cards, cash gifts, and small flat items.

We recommend placing the box in a visible but monitored area during your event for added peace of mind.

Can I add a stand?

Absolutely. We offer:

  • Standard stand (for Royal Mail and Irish post boxes – perfect for indoors)

  • Outdoor stake stand (for the American-style mailbox – must be inserted into soft ground)

Stands are available as optional extras and match the aesthetic of your hire item.

What’s the personalised card binder?

This is one of our most-loved upgrades! Hole-punch your wedding cards and bind them into a beautiful wooden keepsake book with your names engraved on the front. It’s a lovely way to preserve the messages from your guests forever.

We include a  free non personalised one with all our post boxes. Personalisation is an optional upgrade available at checkout.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes! We offer free UK-wide delivery and collection on all post boxes. Whether you’re in a city, countryside, or coast, your box will arrive on time — no extra fees, no fuss.

We can deliver to your home or directly to your venue with prior arrangement.

Do you only do weddings?

Not at all! While weddings are our specialty, our post boxes are also perfect for:
