Hiring from Wedding Post Box is simple and stress-free. Once you book, we’ll deliver your post box two days before your wedding or event and arrange collection two days after (excluding weekends). All boxes arrive ready to use — just place them in your venue and let the cards roll in!

We’ll also confirm your personalisation details and send updates throughout the process so you always know what’s happening.

Your wedding or event date is secured the moment you book, and we show you suggested delivery and collection dates straight away. These avoid weekends and bank holidays.

Within 24–48 hours of booking we’ll email you to confirm your delivery and collection dates. 98% of the time they’re exactly as shown; occasionally we adjust them slightly, usually to sooner. If they don’t work for you, or you need a different delivery or collection date, just let us know – we’ll be as flexible as possible.

We keep a limited number of each post box, so popular dates can book up – especially summer weekends and December.

If your date isn’t available to select, please contact us before booking. We’ll always do our best to help, and can often suggest another colour or style that’s free on your date.

As soon as you know your date. Many couples book months ahead to secure their favourite colour, and peak dates go first.

Short notice? It’s still worth checking – if a post box is available, we’ll do everything we can to get it to you on time.

Yes, plans change. Just reply to your confirmation email or contact us and we’ll move your booking to your new date, subject to availability.

Yes! We offer free UK-wide delivery and collection on all post boxes. Whether you’re in a city, countryside, or coast, your box will arrive on time — no extra fees, no fuss.

We can deliver to your home or directly to your venue with prior arrangement.

Your post box arrives 2 days before your event. If your wedding is on a Friday you can expect delivery Wednesday. We will send you an email along with a tracking number once dispatched. We collect free of charge 2 days after your event. However, if you need collection sooner (e.g from the venue) or at a later date just let our team know by replying to your confirmation email and we will be more than happy to accommodate at no extra cost.

We’re here to make things as stress free as possible. Our team will be in touch to agree delivery times and more than happy to speak to your wedding planner/venue if required to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We can deliver to any address and collect from the same or a different address. You can also change the address at any time. We recommend booking with your home address to begin with (if booking in advance). Our team will then liaise with you closer to the time to confirm delivery & collection address.

The Royal Mail and Irish post boxes are heavy, so if you’re not having it delivered straight to the venue we recommend 2 people to move them.

Our boxes are easy to set up yourself. They arrive ready made, so there’s nothing to assemble.

Your personalised insert will be in place ready – so nothing for you to do. After your event, remove the insert and keep it.

Yes! All of our post boxes include free personalisation: a printed insert with your names, date, or message.

Yes. All our post boxes are lockable and come with keys. They’re ideal for collecting wedding cards, cash gifts, and small flat items.

We recommend placing the box in a visible but monitored area during your event for added peace of mind.

Yes. Every Royal Mail and Irish post box has a built-in lock and is delivered with its key, so your cards and gifts stay locked away until you’re ready to open them.

We suggest giving the key to a trusted person – a parent, best man or maid of honour – for the day. Simply return the key with the post box at collection.

Absolutely. The post box has a card slot sized for standard wedding cards and envelopes, and because it locks, it’s a safe place for cash and gift cards throughout your event.

Our post boxes are sturdy and built to be moved and used at events, so normal use is no problem at all. If anything does happen, just let us know – we’re friendly and always happy to talk it through.
