These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the hire of post boxes and accessories from Wedding Post Box (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order, you (“you”, “the customer”, “the hirer”) agree to the terms outlined below.

1. About Us
Wedding Post Box is a UK-based company offering high-quality, stylish post box hire for weddings and events. We provide nationwide delivery and collection, helping you create a memorable and secure place for cards, notes, and gifts on your special day.
2. Booking & Payments
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once full payment or deposit is received.
Payment must be made via our approved payment methods at checkout.
Customisation details (e.g., personalised inserts or binders) must be submitted at least 14 days before your event.
Late bookings may be accommodated at our discretion.
3. Hire Period
Standard hire includes delivery 2 days before and collection 2 days after your event.
Extended hire can be arranged upon request (additional fees may apply).
Post boxes must be returned or made available for collection in the same condition as delivered.
4. Delivery & Collection
Delivery and collection are free anywhere in the UK mainland.
We deliver to your chosen address or directly to the venue if access is arranged in advance.
The customer must ensure someone is available at the delivery and collection address on the agreed dates.
Missed collections may result in a surcharge.
5. Care, Use & Responsibility
Our post boxes are decorative hire items and are intended for cards and small gifts only.
Items are lockable and come with keys; you are responsible for keeping the contents secure during the hire period.
The hirer is responsible for the post box from the time of delivery until collection.
The box should be kept indoors or in a sheltered area unless otherwise agreed.
6. Damage, Loss & Fees
Post boxes and accessories are checked before and after hire.
If items are returned damaged, incomplete, or not returned at all, you may be liable for the cost of repair or replacement.
A cleaning fee may apply for excessive marks, dirt, or misuse.
Lost or unreturned keys will be charged at £15 per set.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event.
In the unlikely event we cannot fulfil your booking (e.g. due to damage or courier failure), a full refund will be issued.
8. Add-ons & Upgrades
Add-ons such as the wooden card binder and stands are hired under the same terms.
Outdoor stands for American-style post boxes must be inserted into the ground securely and used only as intended.
Any personalisation services are non-refundable once production has begun.
9. Liability
Wedding Post Box is not liable for any damage, loss, or theft of cards or gifts deposited into the post box.
We are not responsible for any injury or accident caused by misuse or failure to follow setup instructions.
